Memes are great for three reasons.

So I may be turning over a new leaf with my blog, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to include the old memes I used to participate in. Memes are really great for two, well okay three, reasons: 1) The very obvious reason: it brings people to your blog! People like the sense of uniformity when it comes to memes. We’re all talking about the same thing, but in different points of view; and in this case, different BOOKS, but the same theme. 2) When people come to your blog (or you go to someone else’s blog), conversations ensue! Yay! 3) You learn about new books (with TTT, that is). I love learning about new book titles, although my hefty Goodreads shelf may disagree.

New Year Book Tag

I CAN’T RESIST A GOOD BOOK TAG. And I found this one (today) over at Pretty Deadly Reviews and just had to do it. I mean, since I’ve been on a blogging roll since Friday, why not? (I promise, I won’t always be this productive, bahaha.)

Let’s Talk About What I Read in 2017

Sunday, January 14th 2018 Bookish

While 2017 wasn’t exactly an “excellent year of reading” for me, at least I can say it was better than 2016! (I had a whopping 14 total books read in ’16, and last year I made it to 19 – woo!) I definitely took a hit though, because 2014 and 2015 were 50+ book years! This past year, while some were re-reads (only three), I mostly stuck to new-to-me novels.
